Urban Operation Competition Arco Tiête

Project resulting from the public call by the São Paulo City Hall for the study of the territorial development plan – Arco do Futuro – which proposes the reconfiguration of an area structured by fundamental elements in the historical occupation of the city of São Paulo: the Pinheiros and Tietê rivers, railway infrastructures, and former industrial areas. The proposal aims to intervene in the urban space of the northern urban support area, considering the intervention area as an AIU composed of two perimeters:
1. PPP-BRT northern articulation – public-private partnership on an axis parallel to the marginal road, with the implementation of BRT (bus rapid transit)

2. OUC northern articulation – consortium urban operation with the aim of fostering and inducing urban development, stimulating the establishment of industrial activities, and stimulating the establishment of non-residential and mixed-use developments.
