Intervention on the Facades of the Mirante of the Beneficência Portuguesa Hospital
Bacco was responsible for the design of the new BP Mirante building at Hospital Beneficência Portuguesa de São Paulo, a reference in oncology and hematology.
With approximately 21,000 m² distributed across five underground levels and six floors, the new building will be dedicated to cancer patient treatment, including medical offices, inpatient units, chemotherapy areas, and support for bone marrow transplantation and radiotherapy.
In addition to the new building, the project includes the renovation of two existing buildings’ facades, seeking visual integration and aesthetic harmony.
The proposal adopts contemporary solutions, using colors and vegetation to promote the humanization of spaces, creating a welcoming and functional atmosphere. The complex reaffirms the institution’s commitment to excellence in highly complex treatments, such as oncology, cardiology, and neurology.
