Barueri Logistics Park - Brookfield

Located near the São Paulo capital, the Barueri Logistics Park is situated parallel to the Presidente Castelo Branco Highway. With approximately 111,000 m² of built area, the development was Brookfield’s first logistics project in Brazil, completed in 2022.

The complex features a single 96,000 m² warehouse and an annex building with two floors, designated for changing rooms, administrative areas, and a cafeteria. The construction of the warehouse utilized the tilt-up technique, which involves the on-site execution of large precast concrete panels, providing greater agility and efficiency to the construction process.

One of the project’s central premises was the pursuit of high environmental and operational performance, ensuring benefits for both users and the environment. As a result of the adopted solutions and the performance achieved, the logistics park was certified in November 2023 with the LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) seal. The certification was awarded at the Silver level, in the BD+C (Building Design and Construction) category, aimed at new constructions.

The project was implemented on a site previously occupied by the IBC (Brazilian Coffee Institute). The demolition of the existing structure was carried out in an organized and sustainable manner, allowing for the reuse and recycling of materials, aligning the project with guidelines for responsible construction and low environmental impact.
