Bacco Arquitetos developed the detailed design for the Maternal and Child Hospital of Marabá, in Pará—a reference facility for the Carajás Integration Region, which covers 17 municipalities.

The project, approximately 40% complete, was commissioned by the state government and will comprise four floors (basement, ground floor, and two upper levels), housing technical, diagnostic, and administrative areas; a surgical center; an obstetric center; a Human Milk Bank; and support sectors.

With a focus on maternal and child health, the hospital will have a significant social impact, improving access to specialized care and fostering job creation in the region.
