The expansion project for Adhemar de Barros Airport in Presidente Prudente, developed by Bacco, aims to modernize the passenger terminal with a focus on comfort, innovation, and sustainability. Without altering the existing structure, the proposal incorporates contemporary materials such as engineered wood (CLT) and structural polycarbonate, adopting industrialization techniques that impart lightness and regional identity to the building.

The intervention respects the physical limits imposed by neighboring constructions to the east and west, reorganizing the parking lot and implementing a careful phasing of the work, which preserves the airport’s operation during the renovations.

The third busiest airport in the interior of São Paulo will gain a new facade and optimized spaces, reinforcing its integration with the urban landscape and enhancing the passenger experience.
